When life gets hectic and I feel we need to just take some time out, take in some fresh air and hug a tree or two, we head straight to Umberslade Children’s Farm for some R & R! Baby Town has grown up riding the tractor trailer, feeding the lambs and snugging with the guinea’s, how truly lucky are we?!
Just 10 minutes from Solihull and the motorway itself, it is nestled in the pretty little village of Tanworth-in-Arden and makes for a great day out for all ages.
Moma Says….. I love this place. Wander around the farm, meet the resident animals and feed the goats and lambs throughout the day. There are pony rides and a fantastic tractor trailer ride through the farm’s fields.
The Farmhouse Café is a lovely little spot to take a break and refuel before hitting the children’s play area and indoor soft play.
Umberslade have it all covered too…… they offer children’s birthday parties (which I intend to book if not to relive my childhood birthday farm parties), education visits for schools & groups and on-site camping too. Umberslade is also the location of this years family Lunar Festival.
Check out their online calendar as they have fun stuff throughout the year; spring lambing, pumpkin carving at Halloween, Bonfire Night celebrations to rival most & of course Christmas nativity and Santa’s grotto. We have tried and tested all and can honestly say each one was just fabulous for the little one’s.
Baby Town Says…… I love this place too! Best place to ride tractors (big and small).
